MDMA does harm the brain...


It just doesn't cause brain damage...
It doesn't instantly kill brain cells (like meth)
But it does harm the brain, maybe not in the sense of causing damage, but in the means of altering its' function... And it does cause some damage over long term abuse...

Trust me... This is one of the few things I actually know about...


MDMA causes a process in the brain called AutoRegulation, which is the blood vessels in your brain dilating depending upon whether your systematic blood pressure has incresed or decreased, which causes lowered blood pressure in your brain...

It can also cause Ischemia...

Yeah, Siler is correct....I wouldn't say that it DOESN'T cause damage, cause it does....it's just not as bad as the government made it out to seem. The damage is much worse for chronic use (both in amount and frequency). In the end, if you choose to indulge, do so in small amounts and only a few times a year and you'll be fine....anything more and you do risk some long-term and short-term effects. If you wanna talk more about this, please find one of the many threads dedicated to this topic.

But anyway, this thread is about ravers anonymous.....so back on topic!

I was agreeing with you're point... I wasn't contesting that... I was saying that it isn't true that it doesn't cause any harm, I was just stating the the harm it does is not as bad as the government makes it out to be...

And some pics are generated by the government to deter ppl away from it... But trust me, I've studied the shit, I do know the kinda damage it does do...

Siler...may I ask how old you are, and how long you have been in this "scene"?

I'm almost 30 years old and have been DJing and raving for almost 10n years now, so I've been a part of BOTH SIDES of the scene, so I personally believe I'm very knowledgable of this subject. I've done my research on the effects of MDMA, and actually one of my my thesis in college was on the effects of MDMA. I did research for not 1 but 2 hospitals in the SouthEast region of the US by letting MY BRAIN be scanned after almost 6 years of habitual use of MDMA (molly caps). So trusdt me my man...the effects are TERRIBLE ON YOUR BRAIN. I'm not saying dont use the stuff....i'm saying know what the future may hold if you do continue to use the stuff...I do know what mine looks like, and i do choose to make those choices. you dig???
