I actually had missed that one, and I will totally give it a go. what do you do if you're out somewhere random with no carpet?:-)

Rub it on my pants I guess lol. If I am going somewhere and I know I am going to be using my sticks then I will usually prepare some before I leave, that way I can just crack em and string.

i think i must be tho only person who loves round strings. i can do so much more with the right pair of strings for me. My favorite strings ( and the best for orbitals IMO are the core of the strechy shoe strings. I cut the tips and pull off the casing so the middle part is all thats left ( its not stretchy and is the perfect size for me, i can hold orbitals a lot easier.

I used to use flat laces but i seem to catch it on to much stuff, i also have tried not doubling my loop but i found i like it were i tie my string into a loop and then stick the end with out the knot through the glowstick, then the loop you have comming out the end of the glowstick you put the knoted end through and tighten. I dont know if that made scince but it is my favorite way to glowstring and i never get caught on my strings or other things.

Hmm... I think I'll have to try that! It sounds like it would work out well. I'm still experimenting myself, so I'm willing to try most anything!
It seems like the only round laces I can find are athletic stretchy kinds.... anyone know where I can find say, regular hiking boot strings? or just plain non-stretchy ones? lol
Again, thanks for your help everyone!
