LilRB - I'm actually good when I pull out the cathedrals since I can totally feel the movement. My problem is the added weight on the really short leash, it moves too fast and I have no idea where anything is going. I'd say fuck it, but I really only spin lights most of the time, so being able to pull off a move under perfect conditions does nothing for me. I need to be able to pull shit off with morons surrounding me
Seriously, I think it's just like everything else, more time. Once I get it like butter with the long leash, it'll just be a short period to nail it with the lanyards and photons. The only question is, how far from butter am I?
I am also very lax in my practice. I have no set time or definite time frame. I just pick up the lights, spin them around for 5:00 then get back to work...all told, I maybe practice 15 minutes a day...during a good week. I want to add in the cathedrals after my light workout days as a sort of cool down, but I haven't had the time to do it yet (that and the shoulder problem I've been fixing really didn't let me spin anything heavy)...that would fasttrac my learning curve, no doubt.
