Do you think it would be possible for a 3 beat corckscrew?

ive often thought about this and i dont think it would be possible due to the position of your arms. maybe if you were sideways doing a tiny 3-beat it would look like a 3 beat corkscrew from the front.

i was attempting it earlyer and i think i almost had it
its kind of like the 5 and 7 beat where u have to twist ur arms a bit.
i havnt got it yet

Yes 3 and 4 beat corkscrew and windmills are possible. The 3 and 4 beat corkscrew use the same type of hand movements as the 5 beat weave. To do the 4 beat corkscrew you use the same hand motions when crossing from right to left in the 5 beat weave for going from bottom to top in the 4 beat corkscrew. When going from top to bottom use the same motions as going from left to right in the 5 beat weave. Of course it would be horizontal for the corkscrew. You cross your wrists at the top and the bottom for the 4 beat corkscrew, but you only cross your wrists at either the top or the bottom for the 3 beat corkscrew. If you can do the 5 beat weave it is actually pretty easy, just turn it horizontally. It is easier doing it the full body way (over your head and down toward your stomach) instead of right in front of you when you first try it.

yes this is VERY possible. osmosis explained it perfectly. see when you're doing a reverse weave.. its the same exact hand motions as a forward windmill, corkscrew, 'figure 8', whatev.. just turned vertical. here check out my vid..

its the same motions as a reverse weave, reverse 5 beat weave, just rotated. heres some tips. when you're adding the extra beat to the top, move both your hands up with the extra beat. and when you're addin it on the bottom, make sure you move your hands down with it. this helps you from hittin your arms... which you'll see me doin in the vid lol. good luck with it man. hope ya get it down, its a very good move to have in your pocket.. people are like whoaaaaaaaaaa thats a crazy 8! lol. peace

Yup yup yup....Osmosis and glowFect-yA-m1nd pretty much said it. Just incorporate 5 beat techniques into a 2 beat corkscrew. Due to the positioning of your arms, the beats for this one go from 2 to 4 rather than from 3 to 5. You can do a three beat by turning sideways, but it's way easier to learn the hand motions in front of you to do the same thing. Like Osmosis said...add the extra rotation at either the top or the bottom to get a 3 beat corkscrew, if you do both, you've got yourself a 4 beater. 5 and 6 are either impossible or damn near. I've tried and I can't really get it down....maybe I'm just not approaching it correctly.

a corkscrew is a figure 8 in front of u.. if u do it over ur head u have a windmill.. check out aquathane's figure 8/ windmill tutorial 4 a good visual aid..

6 beat might be possible, but you would have to take the 7 beat weave motions and turn them horizontally or something like that lol

Yeah, but arms just don't really bend like that unfortunately....still, I'm not gonna say it's impossible, just highly unlikely. Kinda like the BTB 7 beat weave.
