Buzzsaw Transitioning

I saw the tutorial for the Buzzsaw and it helped me alot and i got both down but i'm having trouble with transitioning into and out of the buzzsaw with ease. i usually have to stop and shorten my glowsticks and it just doesn't look very good. so i was wondering if someone could put up a video or just tell me ways totransition into the buzzsaw.

honestly the only way is to shorten your strings.

the transition is pretty easy for me. what i usually do is do a few wraps first and then just spin them around my hand once or twice to shorten them. from here its easy to go to buzzsaws (or corkscrews). to get out just unwind the strings maybe using another wrap or two and youre golden

yea this is pretty dependant on string length.. obviously u need 2 clear ur face lol, but if ur just doing a regular buzzsaw u can go in and out of it from a 3bt weave super easy, just turn ur hands in and ur pretty much there..

if u wanna do a buzzsaw fountain ur gonna have 2 shorten.. and like bird said just do some wraps, wrap ur hand or a finger somewhere in there, and ur good 2 go.. i prefer just 2 wrap a couple fingers, but it takes a little practice 2 wrap a finger w/o losing momentum.. worth the effort tho i feel..

Well, yeah, the shortening of the strings is pretty key...although they can be done without shortening if you use short enough strings to avoid your chin. To be able to do buzzsaw flowers and such, you will need shorter strings, though. My advice is to work on the shortening aspect in a smooth way. Some suggestions....forward buzzsaw you should be able to shorten your strings (just do a single wrap around each of your hands during the move)...likewise, the forward weave, you can do the shortening when either hand is in the buzzsaw (crossed over) position....do each separately, then do the buzzsaw. The reverse weaves are particularly beneficial in the shortening of strings department....utilize this! Just mess around, work on shortening your strings and controlling this....that's my advice. Once your strings are short, I don't think the transitioning will be a problem....weaves are way easy to use to get into these....the rest is history! Good luck!

just glad i can help out. i try to put every single little detail that i can think of in my vids. i can only realy understand it if most vids have creative ideas..........just like nick woolsey THAT GUY KIKS MAJOR ASS!

I don't actually shorten my strings at all, just pull the glowstick toward your face to see how much room you'll have so you know you won't hit yourself in the face. Try transitioning between a weave and buzzsaw, while doing the buzzsaw swing your right hand to the right as if in a weave then cross over to the left and start the weave (a little more complicated than that of course). Try doing that transition, I think it helps.
