I want to learn flowers, but I don't know where to start. I know that there are many variations of flowers, so which one should I start with? Or what are a couple of the easiest flower variations to start with?

The easiest to learn are forward flowers, or reverse flowers. Either way, as long as they aren't anti-spin they're pretty easy to learn, it just takes time. Anti-spin flowers are the best looking imo and they're the most fun to do imo. I have a shitty tutorial on them that I want to update but I'm lazy.

My advice, is definitely practice outside or somewhere you can do full arm extensions. Oh, and the thing that helped me the most with perfecting my anti-spin flowers, is knowing that when doing a 4petal flower, your poi makes 3 circles. Nick Woosley has a video of him explaining flowers to people in a workshop, I suggest watching it. I watched it after I learned them and it's helped me get them pretty.

I think it's a pretty good tutorial myself. I found it easier to learn anti spin flowers but I'm weird like that. =)

just remember 2 start 1 arm at a time.. and try n go slow.. it takes a bit of concentration 2 get ant-spins going at first until ur muscles learn how.. then it'll just flow and u'l love it.. also, when u start doing both arms u'll prob find it easier to do same time at first.. then split time.. i heart doin split time anti spin flowers..
