Hey guys, i've searched the net for quite a while and poked around a couple glowstring websites and never found a tutorial on the simple act of changing color while using handles. So after uuh, longer than i remember of fussing with it i finally nailed the technique and figured "wow that really sucked, i'll make a quick video and post it, maybe help some other poor soul out there trying to do the same." cause when i was learning i nearly put a glowstick through my $350 LCD monitor and launched my handles out in the hallway a few times, crashed them into the roof, launched into the floor...or my foot...knots have broken countless times, the whole nine yards. So here's a quick video i threw together to HOPEFULLY shed some light on this somewhat elusive topic of switching color with handles WITHOUT wrapping the string around your arm, grabbing the other stick etc. Anyways, enjoy and i hope it helps!

Nice color switching skills, you're fast. I tried to learn handles but didn't work out so I just stuck to stringing.

i did handles once with 4 different color glowsticks. you should try it. things get very interesting.

maybe tonight when it gets dark i'll crack some fresh sticks and explain a little more what's going on there. It is a big of a tricky hand motion because once you let go of the stick, there's no control over it until the other sticks makes its way around your hand 1 complete rotation and then you gotta make sure to catch it, then flip it out of the way because it lands in your hand backwards! took me a while, and im still perfecting my left hand, im a righty and my lefty is about as coordinated as a rock..

I'll work on a new one with fresh sticks AND audio. I almost had it on my laptop's webcam buuut for some reason it kept blacking out on me, it would work about about 35 seconds then shut to black and i would have to restart the webcam. But ill make a new one with fresh sticks and a little audio walkthrough sometime either later today or tomorrow i'll have it up for you guys.
