By the way - have you made an introduce yourself thread? This is a great tut - welcome to the site:-)

yep, first i start with a loop on my pinky then wrap around (towards the palm side) then wrap my index and middle and then again on my index where it loops between my index and middle finger. lol yea unholy when i started i had huge blisters too...including black eyes, lumps, and bruises all over. =P and when i'm learning something new the bruises tend to show up again. (i'm not a very cordinated person) ....seems i'm going to have to relearn everything with the string btwn my index and thumb, it feels so weird that way... it feels like the first time i've ever picked up sticks.
yea, i think i did a lil intro when i first signed up for the forum, um...a good bit ago. suppose i should do another seeing it's been so long.
nice tut clearflare. interesting how you wrap 'em.

o yea...i forgot to ask. what kind and what length of strings do you guys use?
I use the softer oval type ones, I believe 46'' or 49'' (sorry been awhile since i've bought some, thankfully though)....they are usually a pain when they are new bc they are so bouncy but work wonders after they are worked in well. and usually helps with preventing blisters if it's been awhile. those are the only strings i've felt comfortable using.
