sort of like an orbital... except you pull very softly, and you follow through to the otherside.
so say you are doing a 3 bt weave, you weave on the left, and you weave on the right...
with a hperloop you weave on the left, and make the motions like you are going to orbital... have it between your arms, then continue to the right side with your weave

hyperloops are addicting as hell lol... in the world of poi... an orbital is considered an intense hyperloop... i've heared it called "super duper uber loops lol
The idea behind the hyperloop is the sticks/poi spinning while the strings are connected. you can do pretty much any weave-based move in a hyperloop form.. just like wallplanes... it's just a matter of figuring out how to do it lol
An orbital, the strings are connected, and they are spinning same direction, split time.
the butterfly is another example... They strings are separate. so you can move them apart freely and easily... but in a butterfly hyperloop, a couple inches from where your hands are, the strings are linked.
if you get into a hyperloop your hands are still apart and dong mostly the same motions... bot a few inches from your hand the sticks/poi are linked.
picture the lines as the glowsticks still. at an above angle.. the top bottom is where your hands are.

Ugh... i hope that made sense...
i prolly just made things more confusing huh...

shiiiii I love hyperloops!!!!! but it dosn't require you to know the orbital. i can do the hyperloop from a forward weave from my rite to my left but yet i still have NEVER EVER done a orbital that last 3+ seconds. im working on it from left to rite but its a big beeeeeetch

Yeah, hyperloops are kinda tricky. I didn't know they were like orbitals but with less pulling. I was under the impression you went into a forwards hyperloop from a 3bt weave on your left side. I guess essentially the poi is wrapping the same way, so it doesn't really matter much.
Hmm, I think I may play with these more... and I kinda remember seeing something about how to make them last longer.

lol my diagram failed! i tried so hard too!!! lol a hyperlooped move is any glowstringing move in which the strings are connected =P hence the "butterfly hyperloop"
Well, if you're using glowsticks I'd stick to orbitals first. However, with poi.. it's a matter of preference really. I think orbitals look cooler (If you can't tell by the obscene amount I do when I make my videos), and therefore love them so tenderly.
