So I watched the movie "The Girl Next Door" last night, and not the one about the hot chick living next door to Speed Racer. This movie was FUCKED UP!!! Basically, it's this guy's remembrance of being a child and he has this neighbor lady that has a bunch of boys. Well, her husband had left her, and she is a psycho. So her sister died and the children (2 girls) move in with the psycho lady. It starts off slowly, the kid goes over to the neighbor's house and the lady is like saying that girls are impure and all this crazy talk. Then she starts being mentally and physically abusive to the older and younger girl. The whole time, the kid wants to do something about it, but he's just a little kid and he's too scared. Finally, the older girl goes to the cops, but they do nothing good, just investigate a little and then the psycho nutjob gets angry and ties the older girl up in the basement. She then lets her kids torture and rape the girl and at the end, she blowtorches the girl shut downstairs. It made me cringe and it also made me extremely angry to know that there is probably people like that out there. So, like I said, I think I've found my calling, and I want to work for child protective services. I've been planning on going to college in the fall, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. Does any1 know exactly what I would have to take as far as college courses? Any input on this subject would be appreciated.

DAMMIT if it is. I don't wanna be a fuckin' cop!! I just wanna take sick sons of bitches down!! People that hurt children deserve to pay!!!! But I was thinking that it was something like Social Services or something in that area....

that's a noble calling.. i expect there would b some criminal justice/ law enforcement, but definitely sociology and psychology/child pyschology..

Hmm, I thought Child Services was part of the lil' Social Services shindig. I could be wrong, but I'd wager Thats what they are part of.

And if you do become a "cop" just turn a blind eye when I whip out my pipe.

True- but it would be impossible for me to be a "cool cop"- I would steal everybody's "evidence" lol. And yea, J- I always wanted to have a living helping other people, especially kids- I kinda had a fucked up childhood, and I know there are kids who got it worse. So my righteous fist would slam into their shitty parent's faces!!!!

that is a really cool revalation. there isnt too much school invovled in that either. mostly what they were saying, and you would be working for the government which mean awsome benefits. i applaud you!!!
