ANTI-GRAVITY INSIDE STALLS!
i havent been able to get this one down yet but it is fun trying to learn it so far.
Firstly, there are two versions in this lesson, there is the right hand stalling on top and the left hand stalling on top, this will able you to turn with it and enables more entries and exits etc...
When starting to learn these you want to get used to going from a weave, turning 90 degrees then doing the stall, not only is this good plane control practice but it also lets you instantly throw the move into your existing repetoir.
so from a forward weave, you turn to your right, swoop your right hand down and infront of you, then up and stalling downwards, while your left hand swoops outward to your left mirroring the right then stalls upwards, it helps to keep your arms apart a little and to deaden the poi when they need to come to a stop.
by "deaden" i mean as the head of the poi reaches the place you want to stall you slacken the tautness and quickly re-take up the slack, thus stopping the poi still and at a controllable stopping distance.
once the stall of both poi take place you need to flick both poi out of the stall and turn 90 degrees to your right again and begin spinning a forward weave.
now to go back to where you come from lol..
so your spinning a forward weave again but this time you need to turn to your left, swoop your LEFT hand down and infront of you, then up and stalling downwards, while your RIGHT hand swoops outward to your left mirroring the left then stalls upwards, exactly the reverse of what you learnt first..
practice this and you`ll soon be doing Anti-Gravity Inside stalls..
