I've got the weave and butterfly down, nothing fancy, wheres a good place to go from here, ive been working on my orbotals and a few string manips that end in an orbital but they only make one or two rotations before clustering up and tangling. any suggestions?

i would suggest trying new things like wraps and different weave type stuff (butterfly weave, crossers, etc.) try different variations of the butterfly (thread the needle, reverse, over ur head, etc) and same for the weave. find wut feels right for you and progress from there. For me wraps were where it was at, and im currently comin up on month 8 of this journey and ive found that once you nail one thing 100% tons of new possibilities are unlocked, just remember to have fun with it and while the techincal stuff does matter, sumtimes jst fcking around bumpin sum good ass music is when things will start to click. I would suggest learning some variations of butterflies/weaves...butterfly over the head, Mexican wave, forward and reverse weave 2 and 3 beats...plus add in an extra rotation on each side by having the planes miss (so the strings don't wrap) then cross back over as you normally would. buzzsaws are always a good option too...there are tons of variations. Or how 'bout a windmill or corkscrew.
