Default Windmill Tutorial Request - 07-24-08, 09:13 PM
If anyone has a good, fast and easy way to learn the windmill, I'd love to know how to do it. I've got 3 beat weave, 2 beat weave, and Butterfly down.

On the First day, God Created Atmosphere.
On the Second day, Melody.
On the Third day, Volume.
On the Fourth day, the Bass.
On the Fifth day, the Bass Line.
On the Sixth day, the Bass Drum.
And on the Last day, He created...
.Sound.

a simple way 2 kinda have it down, is if you think you genrally know whats going on. while ur doing the2 beat weave turn 2 ur right and imagine ur still weaving but just over your head. i hope that doesnt sound stupid. =P

Yeah, BlackLabel is totally right! The two beat weave and the windmill are BOTH figure 8's! The hand motion is the same, only oriented differently. While the 2 beat weave is a side to side motion, the windmill is a forward/back motion. Same thing as the 2 beat weave though....figure 8 hand motion, one always leads, the other always follows. I learned leading with my L hand first. GOOD LUCK! I'm sure you'll have it down in no time....you're a fairly quick learner!

Feel the beat from start to stop, dancin' and groovin' from bottom to top!

Hey, that video doesn't work, and I'm still having alot of trouble learning this move...
I figured out how to do the thumbsplitting orbital, but I really want to learn the windmill.
soo.... make a tut plz?
