Heh.. I noticed you got tangled when trying to 'escape' the bowtie.. just bring your hands together and let the sticks drop.. they'll untangle by themselves, don't force it.. Doing it behind the back is pretty cool also, confuses most people

Hey, it looked like you maybe pulled off the weave in your video - and the bowtie was great. That's pretty good for two weeks.

AHHHH BONKERS IS AWESOME... to be specific, Scott Brown is awesome...

Anyway, yeah, if you want to learn more moves, you could I guess check out the tutorial collection on here, search it up on youtube, or search for it at Glowsticking.com (which I realise may be hard and maybe you aren't up to it), it's all up to you on where you go from here!

i would agree with alex that you should start practicing wraps. wrap combos are what make your dance style unique and serve to make your performances less "boring" than just weaves, standard poi moves, and spirals. the great thing about wraps are that you can be as creative as you'd like, and are a great way to change the direction your sticks are spinning in. you can wrap off your forearms, biceps, shoulders, thighs, knees, your shins behind you, and neck... once you have your wraps down, start making combos with standard wraps, duo wraps(if you use long strings) crossover wraps, and dual wraps. practice, practice, practice

I liked your vid man. Definitely not bad for 2 weeks. It took me that long to learn the weave without hitting myself, let alone making a video to show others.

I'm not sure if this makes a difference to anyone else, but I do way better when I'm drunk. I learned the windmills and the 5 beat both when I've had a heavy influence of alcohol.

I've been thinking of trying to make a video of myself, but haven't had the confidence. I think I might try one soon.
