Music is Life,
Life is Love,
Love is Music!
On the first day God created the Earth and He saw that this was good!
On the second day God created Man and He saw that he was good!
On the third day God created Music and He saw that this was good!
And on the forth day God created the club and the people started to move!
Next, you need to learn how to do a REVERSE weave (remember when we covered the forward weave?,) and then how to turn your body a 1/3rd turn to connect the forward and reverse (yes it sounds difficult, just trust me once you can do forward and reverse, just try turning your body,) which would total to 3 turns when you return to your starting point. This is called a "Spinning 3-beat weave" and once you get it down, you'll be able to then turn a full 180 to keep it in a wall plane (see the end of this post for more info on these...) and so that you complete it in two turns rather than three. Then you can have the camera to your right side for example, do your forward weave, and when you make that 180 the camera is then on your left side as you do the reverse weave. Hope that makes a little sense and isn't just jibberish :-D
Then I would say learn your Shoulder and Hip Reels... Practice the Figure 8's with just one hand before you try jumping into two. Look up LilRaverBoy's Reel's Tut. He does an excellent job at explaining the details in your wrist and other movements. These you would want to be facing the camera, or turned away with your back facing the camera. You can then make 1/4 turns from a weave into Reels, and it's not easy at first but small transitions like these are very important.
Remember!! These 'camera' positions are just tips to get you to your next level, once you actually start performing you'll learn how to stem off from this.
Focus on your presentation and planes. Always imagine in your head what it looks like from the viewers field of view. Unless you are constantly shifting the sticks to different types of planes which can get very complex, "Wall Planes" are the best presentation for glow-stringing (hence, where it is spinning so that the camera see's full circles) however lets say you had some INOVA's or PHOTON's on the ends of your glow sticks, then you would want to spin the way you are in this video so that they flash in an E-Tard's face lol, or even fluctuate between your wall planes and this.
hehe yea the only thing i can do is 3beat weave forward/reverse and transition to and from
"Imagine a world where you speak every thought in your head and you always did what you first thought of doing and did it without any regret. What kind of world would that be? Our goal is to reach that dream "Utopian Society". But face it, the world that we now live in is too fucked up to even start to seem like the "Utopian Society" we all crave."
