Sup everyone, just strolled around and found this site, anyways I am from North Carolina, a town called Salisbury, 30 min from Charlotte and use to be into Raves Hard Core back in the mid to late 90's, actually the first one I went to was in 94, then 95 - 98 pretty much did it every weekend, lived the life, much different from what I hear these days, I got some pictures from way back how the rave seen was I'll try to post, anyways like everyone we seem to grow out of the Club scene and get real jobs and so forth, but we never loose the feel of the music and community!

Would like to meet some others that was in the scene back in the day. Here are a few names for those that see this and remember

hey dude, welcome to gxg....i've been to salisbury quite a few times. I'm in Monroe, NC, and started in the rave scene abut 98'-99'. Do u remember 618, The Latino House, Midnight Til 6, 519, Area 51 and Rendezvous? Those were the best underground clubs charlotte ever had. Do u have any Frankie Bones? I cant find any of his Global House Cultures albums anywhere online. U should come out to Charlotte Underground on the 31st for Halloween Whores. Devine & Emily Play are headlining, plus there are gonna be a ton of gxg members there.

yeah I remember Frankie Bones, there are so many tracks I have been trying to remember for so long, I have downloaded a bunch of them, even the old Sasha and Digweed shit.

And yeah I remember all of those clubs, but I was in the scene a bit before that era, you remember babalyons, Club Mix, Baha?

I remember seeing DJ Rectangle at Baha, we paid him $500 bucks to play 5 records or an hour of mixes, we chose the 5 records....and wow can he tear it up!

I cant remember the name of this DJ, it was back in '97, it was a guy with a fro Wig on his head, and then he started to scratch some Jimmy Hendrix in then took the wig off his head and put it on the record while it was spinning and out came the lighter fluid and matches.....wow, a contribute to Jimmy Rave style....that was bad ass!

Yep, i remember The Baha...that was a badass club!!!
