I find that half of the enjoyment i get out of raving is finding music that is fun to rave to that you wouldnt normally expect to rave to or hear in a club anywhere. For instance, check out the myspace of this band called Holy fuck and listen to the song "royal gregory". I had alot of fun raving to this last time i candyflipped.

i remember when i first got on this site. Someone made a video demonstration of a butterfly weave... I think it was DancefLoor. But the music on the video was all about waffles lol. I laughed my ass off!

I'm a poor gauge...I spin poi (I don't normally hear rave used as a noun to describe an action, not an event, so I'm hoping I actually answer your question), and my choice in music vaires from Nirvana to Vivaldi to the Sex Pistols to Miles Davis to the Mormon Tabernacle choir to all sorts of EDM...so yeah. Oh, and I forget the bluegrass!
