Ok, i had to listen to this a few times because its a format of music i dont know to much about.
everything sounds pretty good except for yes.some overmixing, things do get to sound crowded at times and this can hurt a bit, dont be afraid to pick and choose different bits from a song to play.
all in all tho really good job on everything else look forward to hearing more from ya for sure.

btw whats yer setup consist of?

Oh also, one other bit, be aware of fades, i try to hide mine so its hard to tell that one song is fading out and another is fading in sometimes i suceed sometimes i dont just food for ..erm..thought even tho i hate that saying peace yo

thanks for the input you all. i was at first disapointed cause of the low number of replies,,, but i am glad to hear more of the whats good and whats bad. i dont take it the wrong way, but i take it to the next time i next to advoid whats bad...see its how i get better. cause of you all.

as for the electro question well ill give a few links is all i can say for now. but its not dj icey breaks ill say that... and has more bassss

and by fades you mean me cutting in another record on top of one, and hten out again. ? then back in again. then out...? yeah i will advoid and i noticed it sounds better if i use the toggle switch but its bad if i miss my timing.... rather than using the fader of that channel. i dont use the cross fader much unless "trying " to scratch....


this is my favorite,,,, style of breaks, this is my influence, and if i ever get serious about making music this genre would be one kind

does yer mixer have a curve adjust for the crossfade? if it does try setting it to a sharp cut..its a bit better then using a line/phono toggle switch cuz u can still hear whats happenin in yer headphones. just dont forget to set it back when u go to mix the next song in..ive done that hahah..bad surprise
