Great time last night! Was definitely a nice change to play in Greenville at a new spot! BabyGirl and Zero were utmost respectful and professional hosts and I gotta give it up to them for consistently holding down a night like Wednesday there. The sound was bumping, the drinks were stout as always, and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves (and even did quite a bit of booty-shaking!).

I opened the night with some deep funky house grooves and man was it cool to finally hear House on that system! Detray followed with a flawless flow of his tech progressive.. still blows my mind that he's only been playing for a year and 1/2 and he's already sounding solid in the club. Great stuff my man, keep it up!

Backspace and Roc-It followed with a fun set of Tech Breaks, as well as some stormers. Very nice to see these two tagging it up again.. it's been quite a while and I think we're gonna be seeing the same again in the near future.

BabyGirl went on at midnight and I have to say that this is the best I've heard her play. I think it's about time for her to start getting the recognition she deserves. Girl got talent!

Overall, great fulfilling night! Thank you again to BabyGirl and Zero, hope we can do it again sometime soon!

Since I found out about this shindig from this website I guess I'll leave my review here.

I've made it out once before this one so I knew the crowd was going to be weak haha. But whatever beggars can't be choosers. I'll take 20 people being chill over 100 that want to fight me.

I wore a collared shirt just b/c clubs in greenville try and be all fancy or whatever. That's my limit. I personally refuse to ever frequent the blu martini b/c they wouldn't let me in with tennis shoes. I go out to dance and dress shoes just don't cut it. Anyways much to my pleasure the dress code was lax. So that was really cool in my book.

The layout is really nice. Nice open dancefloor. Unfortunately no one was on it most of the night. I walked in and everyone was sitting at the bar. I was like jeezus not a bunch of 2coolforskool tough guys. Anyways I didn't really want to be the lone entertainment on the dancefloor so I danced off in a side corner most of the night. Less than 10 people danced the whole night... lame street. But this is greenville haha.

The dj's were good. I remember at certain times the dj would be absolutely shredding it and no one would even notice it. They would be just sitting there with a dumb look on their faces. Somebody needs to pass out a how to party 101 pamphlet around greenville but I digress haha... maybe everybody was really insecure. Except for those asian girls, they were having fun.

That dude who was scratching was hit or miss with it. He would go really good with the music at some points and totally miss it on others. The house was nice. I only heard one shrill diva come on so that was good. The electro was hit or miss. I wished she would of mixed in some more old school classics. I did hear egyptian lover which was nice. Oh props to the guy who was playing the songs with the heavy bass. It sounded almost like dubstep. And just for the record I don't mind if the dj's go experimental just as long as there are a good number of songs with a good bottom end to dance to.

Anyways I enjoyed myself and it was the best $5 cover charge I've spent in a long time in greenville. The $3 grey goose was nice also. All in all I'm going to try and make it out more wednesdays instead staying in my house and dancing in my room. Hopefully the crowd will get a better vibe and lose the whole depressed sit at the bar deal.

Great review birdman, sound like you had a great time for only $20. Wish these things happened in my area, as I can only afford to make it out to large events outside my area. I would like to attend smaller, more intament events...

Yep the drink specials were bomb. And just for the record the guy who was hit or miss with his scratching nailed it this past night. And yeah Eric I guess intimate would be the word to describe it haha... whatever I'm going to try and go again this wednesday. I had a good time.
