I was told different and I know it's been happening alot. I drove all they way from Charleston just to hear Rel-1 in Greenville and his set was cut short. He was one of the best DJs there that night. The parties have been lacking a good vibe. Maybe if everyone was getting there time. They could create a vibe for everyone to enjoy. There's a certain level of professionalism lacking from parties these days. If you book someone to play and shit goes askew. As a promoter, you should give up your slot for someone who drove out of there way, to play your party.

Ouchie!! But also there is a lack of "professionalism" in some DJ's as well. This is comming from a DJ NOT A PROMOTER....I DO NOT THROW PARTIES.
What about when DJ's show up 3 hrs late because he or she doesnt like their time slot... and still expect to play a time slot. Thats not cool if ya ask me.

Also parties in Greenville do have a good vibe. This was a Charlotte event.

Well, I don't know who told you the party was over booked. I threw the party and had the Underground Assassins host the patio, I booked the main room inside and made time slots for it. There weren't any issues in there. Underground Assassins made their line up and time slots for the patio. There were some issues come up that they had to handle and I think they did a very good job handling them in a very short period of time. I was the promoter for the Sharaz show and I was not on the line up to play at all, so I had no slot to give up for someone else or I would have.

I don't know what happened at the show in Greenville you're refering to because I wasn't there, I think the some of the DJs didn't show up in time for their slot and that's why you only got to see a partial set instead of a full one. But like I said I wasn't there so I don't know for sure.

You're with the crew in Charleston right? I've heard similar about the events in Chucktown, with the exception that people actually attend the events in Greenville, and Charlotte. But again...i'm not in Charleston so i can only go by what i hear.

Our scene down here is 150 strong and that isn't enough to fill a bath tub. As for Partiology events everyone plays at least an hour and everyone gets paid. Win or lose. Will, I'm sorry and I didn't mean to offend anyone. As for DJs not showing up on time. When time slots are posted before events, they're shit out of luck. They knew what time to play. I wouldn't book them again. None of us are superstar djs. This Breakfest party will see how it turns out. I'm just hosting the 2nd stage. I didin't have anything to do with this except bringing some sound and lights. So will see how it all goes down. I still haven't seen an actual flyer. People planning parties and they don't have the money to. So we'll see. It's not hard to have everything set up before the party starts. My previous comments were not directed at anyone and any crew personally. It's just the Carolinas are throwing alot of events and people are looking to us to play. People down here don't have a clue either. Throwing parties on the same nights when there is only 150 heads in this town that come out. There's just a lack of professionalism across the board. That's why I'm only associated with Partiology. So if I drop the ball then it's only my fault. This statement could be concerned as unprofessional but we all know what needs to be accomplished.
