Will, I'm sorry and I didn't mean to offend anyone. As for DJs not showing up on time. When time slots are posted before events, they're shit out of luck. They knew what time to play. I wouldn't book them again. None of us are superstar djs. This Breakfest party will see how it turns out. I'm just hosting the 2nd stage. I didin't have anything to do with this except bringing some sound and lights. So will see how it all goes down. I still haven't seen an actual flyer. People planning parties and they don't have the money to. So we'll see. It's not hard to have everything set up before the party starts. My previous comments were not directed at anyone and any crew personally. It's just the Carolinas are throwing alot of events and people are looking to us to play. People down here don't have a clue either. Throwing parties on the same nights when there is only 150 heads in this town that come out. There's just a lack of professionalism across the board. That's why I'm only associated with Partiology. So if I drop the ball then it's only my fault. This statement could be concerned as unprofessional but we all know what needs to be accomplished. Now lets go out and do it. Have a great party... Oh!!! I just got a call BreakFest flyers are here. Woohoo!!!!

I just hate when there's good djs out there trying to do a positive thing and you've got these others that think they're all that. That half ass things. It makes everyone look bad.

I appreciate that man...but its not really that i dont give a fuck. Its honestly that i feel comfortable pretty much at most of the parties that I play at. I'm usually surrounded by support that I've built over almost 10 years of DJing, and I've heard almost any negative thing possible that could possibly be said about a DJ. So i tend to "feed" off of that negativity, and push myself that much further. A guy, who shall remain unknown, once told me AND I QUOTE "noone hates on a loser" From that day forward...i changed my view of what a DJ should be. My ultimate goal when i play is NOT to be a "crowd pleaser"....it's to connect on an "emotional" level with the people who CHOOSE to listen when i DJ. If i can make JUST ONE PERSON look me in the eyes and sing along with a track or to pump his or her fist in the air when i drop a "cheesy ass" track...I'm satisfied. So as far as being a "superstar DJ"...that my friend i AM NOT nor DO I EVER want to be know as that status of DJ. I have a job that i work thru the week that i'm very happy with, and DJing is PURELY a HOBBY to me. But I do know what u mean, and i have met a few in my time that want to "be that guy". So we do see eye to eye on that "issue".
But hey every scene needs a "bad guy"...right???
PS. When u gonna have me out at a partiology event?

i agree with Waldo. I dj'd that event, and in fact i covered for the dj who didn't show up for his timeslot on the patio. I have lived in many states and countries, and i just moved from Charlotte to Greenville due to the craziness that is happening in and around the scene. The promoters did the best that they could have done, the DJ's that played rocked it, and of course the hesaid/she said drama smothered the party. i think that people need to realize that it takes alot to either promote a show or dj at one. 99.9% of the dj's and promoters that do this don't do it for money, they do it for the love of the music and wanting to share their interests with the rest of the world. i think alot of people need to step back, take a minute to not point fingers at other people, and think how i personally can my this scene better, and how i can change my own actions to provide a more positive scene. too much hatin.......... remember some of the foundations these parties were put on was based around the meaning of PLUR( peace, love, unity, respect) and one love.

BossMan said it all!!!!!!!
UGA promotes parties mainly for fun. in detroit in the 90's in to the millenium i made money off parties, lots of easy money those days are done but very fond memories....
shure i'd love to have the ability to make money off promoting but i'm having more fun hear in charlotte doing this then i ever did in detroit!!
and every party i've done so far has cost me money.. maybe one day i'll even make a profit from this but i'll never lose site of why i'm doing it P.L.U.R tHAT WAS THE WAY WHEN I BECAME A RAVER!!!
