Summer Breeze 08 -

I personally would like to thank JAREBLUE!!!! if it wasn't for you Jared, I wouldn't have just gotten home from my very first rave =P
YOU found this rave!!! and through that link... i found that a very good friend of mine owns the freakin production companly running the whole thing!!!
Summer breeze 08 was almost aborted. two days before the rave, the owner of the original venue backed out. James(Founder of Rapid Pulse Productions) told him to fuck off...
Thursday night at around 11 pm James found a new venue. Between 11pm on thursday night, until 8 pm friday night(when the rave started) James worked his ass off getting news out that summer breeze was back on!!!! but at a new venue!
less than 24 hours.
and it all worked out perfectly =P
I had the best time of my life!!! there were 3 stages. the party room, was all happy hardcore! The snack room, was all hardcore!!! and the main stage was all GABBER!!!!
Before last night/today, I always thought that when I glowstrung, I got "into" the music.
In the Gabber room I was so mezmorized by the lasers... and the gabber... every single thing I did was automatic. I've never really been very big on wrapping with glowstrings(never was very good at it) but I was going nuts!!! Doing all sorts of combos that I never would have dreamed I was capable of doing! I had people coming up to me all through the night asking me to teach them!!!
I taught- the 3bt weave, the 5 bt weave, the 2 and 3 bt btb weave, waistwrap weaves, bowties/gumbies! and a load of other things that I can't even remember!
I had such a blast... and I earned my very first pieces of kandi =P
and... I did it all sober ^_^
Overall I will Rate Rapid Pulse Production's Summer Breeze 08 a 5 out of 5. a 10 out of 10. a 100 out of 100... hell... ill give it a 116!
How in the world RP put together such an amazing rave in less than 24 hours is beyond me... But i'm sure as hell glad they did!!!
P.S.
For those of you going to the North Central GxG meetup, James WILL be there. on the turntables =P
shaweeeet..glad you had a good time man congrats on yer very first rave

I totally agree with everything he just said. I had LOADS of fun at the rave last night. It was my first time at a rave and I had no idea what to expect. I felt like a fish out of water; majorly.
I'm not much of a party animal, I didn't even know what people meant when they asked if I was 'rolling,' :P but that didn't deteer from me having fun in the slightest. :3
I may not have taught anyone anything (because I was asking SmileBeyotch to teach me things too :P) but he's right about getting caught up in the music.. I'm probably one of the most insecure people you'll ever meet in person and in public places, so it took me almost an hour to even get out on the floor, and with my limited knowledge, I figured everyone would know and laugh, (so not the case) but the point WAS: once you got out there.. it didn't really matter. Like SmileBeyotch told me, people don't care as long as you're having fun. :)
So major props to James. He seemed like a really awesome guy and it's waay commendable to be able to pull off what he did. So kudos and thanks for a memorable night~! I can't wait to have another. :D
