Yeah, medieval weaponry is bad ass! I always wanted a set of metal spikey balls on chains to spin (well, not really to spin all the time, but to have on hand in case of an emergency!) Don't fuck with me or you'll have to answer to my BALLS OF FURY!!!

Maces and flails are almost the same thing...The difference is flails have the spike balls on a chain they can spin, maces are basically a rod with the spiked ball shaped in one place, you couldn't spin it, you had to swing it into them...That's the reason for all the peoples misconceptions.
