firstly... i would like to apologize for my lack of posting... my computer is broken and best buy needs to evaluate it before it can be fixed/replaced. im postin with my cell phone . i figured this occasion was momentous enough to endure ridiculous load times and such that come with the cell phone interwebz. okay so... i had this super crazy monster urge to make some sock poi... and just my luck... i only wear ankle socks XD. so i thunk and thunk and thunk summore.. and then i made my creation. target bags and honey smacks cereal!! they even come with built in handles! they totally rock and they make btb crossers and hyperloops way easier. these poi totally rock my socks... just thought id share =P. i luff you all! latrz!

I also have PC problems i can only get online at work for the time being.

Anyway on topic for making cheap and easy poi i use these:

they are used for putting the washing detergent tablet thingys in. i usually add some more length to them and just stick a tennis ball in. They're really good for Glow/LED stuff too...

**WOW! i wonder how many glowsticks these things would hold?!?!?!**

anyway i had a look but i cannot find anything like this for the US but i get them sent out free from the interwebz, so if anyone fancys it i can order and ship them over. (or better you can come visit the UK and pick them up :P)

I used to use fishnet stockings when I broke one of the hooks on HoP's LED ball poi. That was fun =D

Anyway, I'd love to see a picture once you get your computer working again.

OMG....hilarious....shopping bags and cereal!? You crack me up! I have definitely rocked shopping bags while leaving a store before so I really can't talk....and there was that time that I was drunk and desperate to spin (but had no poi sets), so I used socks with lighters in em....LMFAO...but it worked, so HA!!

that sounds like it works. when i get in trouble at school and they stick me in ACP, they use the kids in there to clean up after lunch and put in new trash bags and stuff, and i always take 2 big black trash bags and stick some oranges in there and tie them off. yeah the security guards are at a loss for words haah.

lol yall i was at work one night i am a server as well as a cook now and i was spinning my and a coworkers mag card lanyards with a carabinger on each lol but the best part was a customer came in and had seen me spin fire at a rave

If theres a will, theres a way! whatever it takes to get in some practice, i used to just spin my keys around, but that hurt bad when you would hit yourself, so it encouraged me not to hit myself... lol great idea though, i don't knwo if i would have thought to use shopping bags!

lol by the time i left the dorms in st cloud i had EVERYONE spinning their keys around
