Hello everyone!

This event will mark my entrance into the live/experimental down tempo style. Suffice it to say that Bassnectar and Sound Tribe have been influencing me a ton this summer. I'll be using viirual synth intruments in Ableton Live and accompanying me will be pyschedelic guitarist Aidan Mouat playing with his insane collection of vintage pedals. Aidan and I have played in Atlanta pyschedelic rock band Japanese Simon since 2004 and we are both really excited about collaborating on this show, playing together for the first time in over a year.

I'll put it this way: this is going be insane. Not 'insane' in the good, wild, incredibly awesome way that bands or DJs or fans of bands or DJs would use as an adjective to describe how energetic and sweet shows are in an attempt to induce crowd attendance and the building of that kind of exciting reputation..., but actually insane. Mentally ill. This is the clashing of two different yet dynamic musical minds, both extremely demented. There is a good chance that we will both eventually be assigned to asylums by the government within our lives. I promise you that I am being totally serious. The truth of this fact is actually pretty frightening to me.

So it's going to be pretty fucked up, and I hope all of you can make it out to this very abstract peice of art that is about to happen. Consider it a two hour journey into insane pyschedelic realms of dimensions that haven't come into existence yet.

Honestly, I say this because this show will be a true improvisational project. I have been planning the music for the sets for weeks, but what has been planned for this are basically the arrangements and format. So we'll see what happens.

$5 tickets and $5 pitchers inside. Hope to see you guys there if you can make it!
