Well, all last week, things seemed to just be fucked up in general. And it was only getting worse and worse. Saturday was the culmination. But let's start with what started to go wrong?
Tuesday was when things first started. A friend I recently made, I found, was copying my work. I'd nearly gotten in trouble for plagiarism. Except I figured out that he was taking pictures of all my work on his IPhone when I would go to the bathroom or something. Not cool. One friendship ended.

1:30 am. And woo hoo, a lesson learned.
One broken glass. And the light fixture shield? Yeah, that's gone too. Lol look at the attached picture. :v
Oops! Now I have to pay university for that. Oh, and glass fell in my hand and cut it up pretty gnarly. Now I'm not gonna be able to practice with that hand for a while
Lesson learned: PRACTICE WHERE THERE IS A LOT OF ROOM FOR FLOWERS.

Slowly, but surely, the ferret is getting the hang of things. :3
In all honesty, it feels like I've been doing these motions forever, but just never realized that they could look like this.
So I've gotten a LOT better at the basics. Three beat weave? I can get that going for a good while. Split time two beat looks good too (I've got it to the point where it's split into two half beats-- a lot of the tutorials have it where it's just following one another, or at least it...

>_> I'm totally not cut out for this. At least, though, I'm not flailing wildly like some lunatic who's trying to be something he's not. xD I just plain suck.
Eh, slow learner. Got split and together time down (it wasn't really hard though, considering I'm a musician. Just had to think of together as quarter notes, split as eighth notes-- tip for any newbies who read and who know music), and started work on two beat and three beat weave.
I find it odd that I'm better...

Okay, so today after class I went by the grocery store, and bought some tennis balls (I don't know why they sell tennis balls at the grocery...)
Enter phase 1. The sock poi.
Enter phase 2. Hit self between legs as poi tangle when you start to get into swinging two at once and attempt crossovers.
Enter phase 3. Fall in pain, squealing higher than you thought bodily possible.
Enter phase 4. Recover.
Enter phase 5. Try again.
