the only thing i could think to advise you on is to start online first. a brick and mortar store (especially in a mall, goodness!) has to bring in so much money. also, lots of "Ravers" don't ever go to towneast mall, so i'd suggest maybe irving or arlington.

Yeah, I kinda know how to do it....but I can't, so teaching is kinda beyond me. But you are absolutely right...you come in from a weave, do an isolation-like move while executing the inversion and then you can cross your arms and start your torso twisting. It looks cool when done right, but like I said, most people can't tell the difference. I've been messing with it from time to time, but not actively attempting it. Yeah, the real 'straightjacket' or 'full straightjacket' (whatever you wanna call it....I get balled out on youtube for calling the move in my tutorial a str8jacket....everyone's like 'that's not a str8jacket, etc etc. I call it that cause it was on a DVD tutorial by Zan Moore...but anyway, I digress) is a move that involves inversions (woah, did he start up mid sentence....yeah, that was the longest parenthesis-ed tangent ever....well, not ever, but this is starting to become one, so here goes again...can you follow all this?? LOL) so that your arms are fully crossed like you would just 'stand with your arms crossed' but do the crosser spinning motions. It's super hard to get into/out of smoothly and honestly, I don't really see the point cause it looks the same, but whateva. I kinda wish I could do it just to say I could. You gotta kinda catch a string around an arm before you even cross the other and yet still continue momentum....hard.

Sounds like a crosser....or butterfly crosser if they spin in opposite directions. That's a GREAT move....keep practicing/perfecting it. People seem to have a terrible time learning this, so it's awesome (and serendipitous) that you just fell into it!
