Yeah, I've got a set! One is orange, the other is white...both UV reactive. They're pretty sweet....make a nice noise when you spin em and they look amazing under the blacklight!
Yeah, poly-rhythms are just a mental block....cause it's hard to do one thing with one hand and something totally different with the other. It gets even tricker when you start to throw turns in there and try to keep antispun going the right direction, etc....crazy!
Oh, are you getting flags or zunis (tailed poi) cause they are different.
LOL....you KNOW I LOVE PIROUETTES!!! I'm glad to have other fans....Nick Woolsey was kinda my inspiration originally, but once I learned a few, it was an addiction, naturally! Glad to hear you are learning new stuff like mad! You've definitely breached the 'advanced' stage and are now into the 'mad-crazy' category! Cause that line definitley has to be reached before people start to go insane on it.....try some cat-eyes (look for alienjon's profile on youtube), hybrids, poly-timing, etc and take it to the next level! Also, don't miss out on the variations you've missed along the way!
It's been amazing watching you learn over the past 6 months or so.....I remember when you joined!
Well, honestly, it's a tricky little quirk about BTB weaves. I didn't realize I was doing it for the longest time cause the hand motions FEEL the same, but they aren't. Imagine an OTH butterfly. If you keep your hands in the same orientation, if the R hand starts on top in the front, it'll be on the BOTTOM behind your head. Crazy how it works, but that's how it does.
LOL....that's a regular BTB reverse weave. BTB reverse weaves have the hand motions of a forward weave (you cross OVER each time) and likewise, forward BTB weaves have the hand motions of reverse weaves (you cross UNDER each time). To make it an antispun weave, you'd have to do actual reverse hand motions for your reverse weave....that'd be tricky. I've never seen it done, but I won't say it's impossible.
