ok so i been checking out some things about your camera. here are more specific details to what i already told you. since i feel i didn't explain it well enough.
Auto exposure bracketing (AEB) to shoot 3 continuous images,
each with a different exposure setting: correctly exposed, underexposed
and overexposed.
Highlight- to make the subject stand out from its surroundings. The
subject will be in focus in three different ranges.
Sharpness- Highlight or blend the edges of subjects in pictures.
Exposure- an exposure compensation value (EV) within the range
of -2EV to +2EV in order to compensate for current lighting conditions. A higher EV value is better used for light-colored and backlit subjects. A lower
EV value is better for dark-colored and shooting outdoors on a clear day.
Fireworks sounds like it would work, but so does P mode. On your camera. From what I can tell it looks like you can see the shutter speed on the bottom center of the display. You need to find a way to max out the shutter speed. It sounds like 8 seconds is the max for your camera. Using a timer, and no flash will also help.

Okay, I'm checking right now...
Okay... It's Polaroid i733
And it's pink XD

drive mode on your camera to me sounds like the frequency of pictures. so 2/10 seconds is a timer delay, burst would be like a group of most likely 3 or more pictures quickly check the manual for that. double is 2 pics in a row.
the best way i would say for you to be able to take the pictures your talking about. would be to use a lower iso setting. and if your camera has an "M" mode put it in that. since m is manual. you should be able to adjust the shutter timer, to have a longer exposure. i have an "m" on both my cheaper sony, 4 megapixel and my expensive canon, 8.1 megapixel.
what type of camera do you have? maybe i can look it up for you.

It does... As for the two you said it depended on the choices they were..
Drive mode -> Off/2 sec/ 10 sec/ Double/ Burst
Oh that was the only one...
And it does help as to now I know what all that shit actually does, but I'm still confused, as to which one of those, if any of them, do I change to make it not take the pic for a while, like you need for the pics with the words written in light... The ppl I see making them said they'd make them for me, but I want to make a LOT, and I don't wanna ask that much of them...
So I guess, what do I change so I can do that... Like I said, it has a fireworks setting that does it, it just doesn't wait long enough to write anything...
And that's of course assuming that this digital camera is even capable of having that setting changed...

Resolution- you know. the higher the res. the better the pic looks. more pixels = clearer larger picture.
Quality- a setting that determines how the picture is saved, higher means less pics per memory card
Metering- the way in which a camera meters a scene. metering is gathering light information about a subject. it tests how much light is there, which in turn affects how your camera determines what settings to use. its those little black boxes with the white circle on top of them, if you seen photoshoots or making music videos. thats what they are doing with those things.
White Balance- determines what white is, if your wb is off, your colors come out messed up. best way to white balance for a room is to hold up a clean white printer paper in front of the camera. and then use white balance.
ISO- iso is sensitivity or "speed" of film. the lower the iso, the longer it takes for it to pick up the same amount of light. so if you took the same room and same pic at 2 different iso. the shutter speed was the same and everything else was the same. lower iso is darker.
Exposure- exposure could be a few things depending on what settings are under it. usually it refers to brightness of a picture. similar to iso. making things more exposed/ white washed, or less = dark pictures
Drive Mode- drive mode, unsure because i dont know what settings are under it.
AEB- usually means auto exposure bracketing, refers to how a picture is "bracketed". this is how a camera focuses on multiple subjects at different depth of field.
Highlight- usually the amount of white in a picture, i.e. more white wash/ white hot spots
Sharpness- refers usually to the "grainy" ness of a picture.
hopefully that helps some.

Hey man..
I got a camera, and it has a firework effect, and it doesn't flash and takes a while from clicking for it to actually take the pic, and I was going to try and make one of those LED light word pictures... But it doesn't not take the pic long enough to write anything...
Then I remembered you're smart on this...
What is it you said you need to raise/lower to make it take longer?
I think you said ISO? this cam has these options on the edit menu...
Resolution, Quality, Metering, White Balance, ISO, Exposure, Drive Mode, AEB, Highlight, Sharpness...
Okay, I know what the obvious shit is (resolution, Quality, etc.) but I have no clue what the rest of it is ( ISO, White balance I know what it does cam wise but I don't know how it affects the pic, ISO, AEB, Drive Mode, etc etc)
So pretty much...
You up to schooling my ass on this again?
