Yeah, my friends and I decided what the need to come out with is a version where you put in a CD and the game turns your music into the game-style notes, etc. That way you could play any song you wanted to!! This is probably a long way off, but someday maybe!

I play guitar and sing mainly... Drums piss me off cuz some of the songs are just fuckin nuts on the bass pedal. I was kinda mad though cuz they tuned down the guitar parts and made drums super hard. They're comin out with Guitar Hero 4.. gonna be like Rock Band but you can create songs and the drums have symbols.

NIIIIIIICE. That's impressive. Yeah, that game is fun shit. I like the drums the best, but vocals are fun if I know the song....problem is that the songs on the game tend to be more obscure and despite the fact that I've heard most of them I only really 'know' a few.

Wow....sounds like you had a pretty awesome weekend. Mine was pretty lame....worked Fri, Sat, Sun and today. I went to my friend's house Sat. night and played 'Rock Band' (I think that's what it's called)....like guitar hero, but with a guitar/bass, drums and mic....pretty sweet, really. Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Dammnn that sucks! I've hit myself in the head quite a few times but never straight up in the eye.. I bet that killed. I probably would have sworn a lot... haha. This weekends been like one long day.. haha. Friday I went to 2 bonfires and then yesterday I candy flipped with a bunch of people and didn't stop wiggin out until 5 pm today.. hah. I was gettin into the glowsticks hardcore cuz the tracers were hugggee haha. And I just got back from another bonfire... so its been pretty exciting. What about you?

Yeah, I'm a little pissed at glowsticks right now....I normally practice solely with poi. A few days ago, I decided to pick up glowsticks and work on some wraps, etc. Yeah, after 5 years, I have now gotten my 1st black eye because of a glowstick.....sucks. And try explaining that to people that don't know what glowsticking is...they're like 'What?'....and everyone thinks I got beat up....no fun! So what did you do this weekend?

Well isn't that the truth. I'd be pretty much lost if it wasn't for this site and some tutorials. I lost touch with all the raver kids that I knew from demf a few years ago and none of my friends are into it at all. Actually, now that I think about it... they're pretty much against it.

Well, to be honest....I've never had much for teachers in person. Most of what I know was learned by myself. When I first started I was going off what I had seen someone do. I had a friend introduce me and explain the 3 beat weave. Then I progressed by watching vids, looking for things I didn't know how to do, then trying to do them. There were some really crappy tuts along the way that didn't explain a thing.....just a vid showing a person doing the move. So when it comes down to it, you don't really need a person to teach you these things....just a lot of time and practice and some guidance. You all are really lucky to have a resource like this with decent tutorials and an awesome community to help explain things. I can totally notice how fast everyone learns on here....way faster than I learned when I was starting. If I lived near you, I'd totally stop by and give you lessons or whatever you wanna call it....help you learn new stuff. Unfortunately, I'm in Iowa and I'm moving to St. Louis soon....even farther away. But I'm always nearby in a digital realm, so don't be a stranger!
