GenXGlow has tens of thousands of users. In order for everyone to enjoy GenXGlow equally, we have put forth rules for everyone to follow.

General Site Rules

• No SPAM
  • Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy or increase a member’s post count. This determination is made by the forum Moderators or Administrators and is not up for discussion.
• One Account per Member
  • Each GXG member only needs one account, please keep it this way.
• Stay on Topic
  • Posts in a particular forum need try and stay on topic. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to another, correct topic. General conversation can be posted in one of these two forums.
    • Grand Central – All RAVE related general discussion
    • General – All non-RAVE related general discussion
  • Excessive off topic conversations in a thread between small numbers of members are best suited to private/visitor messages or the chatroom.
• Insightful Posts
  • Posts should offer something useful, thoughtful, and insightful to the thread’s topic. Please refrain from posts such as “nice video,” “looking great, keep it up!” etc.
• No Affiliate or Referral Links
  • Affiliate and Referral links are not allowed.
• Copyrighted Material
  • Do not post links to Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to illegal downloads of not only software, but copyrighted images that must be purchased, movies, and other items being illegally distributed.
• Drug Discussion
  • No discussion of the distribution of illegal substances of ANY kind.
  • Illegal substances may be discussed in order to provide factual information about the substances’ physiological effects and in order to help other members make informed, responsible decisions.
  • Please refrain from any discussion not specifically geared towards this purpose. This determination is made by the forum Moderators or Administrators and is not up for discussion.
  • Please refrain from referencing specific individuals and locations in all drug discussion.
• Be Respectful
  • No personal attacks of any kind, against any member. This includes attacks on a single member as well as statements that are discriminatory/derogatory to large groups of members.
  • GenXGlow does not tolerate discrimination based on gender, sex, race, sexual orientation, national origin, social class, religion, or website affiliation. Any posts deemed discriminatory will be deleted or modified. This determination is made by the forum Moderators or Administrators and is not up for discussion.
• Graphic Content
  • Please remember that there are a significant number of members that are under the age of 18 and post responsibly. Any pornographic or excessively violent material will be removed immediately. This determination is made by the forum Moderators or Administrators and is not up for discussion.
• Website Neutral
  • Refrain from being disrespectful towards other websites.
• Area-Specific Rules
  • Some areas have rules specific to it. Be sure to follow these rules when active in the respective area.

Glowsticking Specific Rules

• No Bashing Other’s Videos
  • Helpful criticism is accepted, but be encouraging and treat others as you would like to be treated.
• No Battling
  • We do not condone any form of battling or extreme boastfulness.

Dance Specific Rules

• No Bashing Other’s Videos

Music Specific Rules

• Copyrighted Music
  • Copyrighted music is not to be distributed, unless with the consent of the artist or owner of the works.
• Respect
  • Whether beginning djs, or experienced, be respectful of everyone’s art.
