Sitewide Rules

1. No SPAM
• Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy or increase a member's post count. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and is not up for discussion.
2. One Account per Member
• Each GXG member only needs one account, please keep it this way.
3. Stay on Topic
• Posts in a particular forum need try and stay on topic. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to another, correct topic. We welcome most general conversation in the "Central" forum.
4. Insightful Posts
• Posts should offer something useful, thoughtful, and insightful to the thread's topic. Please refrain from posts such as "nice video", "looking great, keep it up!", etc.
5. No Affiliate or Referral Links
• Affiliate and Referral links are not allowed.
6. Copyrighted Material
• Do not post links to Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to illegal downloads of not only software, but copyrighted images that must be purchased, movies, and other items being illegally distributed.
7. Drug Distribution
• No discussion of the distribution of illegal substances of ANY kind.
8. Be Respectful
• No personal attacks of any kind, against any member.
9. Website Neutral
• Refrain from being disrespectful towards other websites.
10. Area-Specific Rules
• Some areas have rules specific to it. Be sure to follow these rules when active in the respective area.

Glowsticking Specific Rules

1. No Battling
• We do not condone any form of battling or extreme boastfulness.
2. No Bashing Other's Videos
• Helpful criticism is accepted, but be encouraging and treat others as you would like to be treated.

Dance Specific Rules

1. Competitiveness
• Keep it in moderation. Only to be used to learn from one another, and should always be friendly.

Music Specific Rules

1. Copyrighted Music
• Copyrighted music is not to be distributed, unless with the consent of the artist or owner of the works.
2. Respect
• Whether beginning djs, or experienced, be respectful of every ones art.
